Jace Morgan thought he had his act together. He likes being his own boss. He likes working with his hands. Carpentry isn't quite the same as architecture but it's close enough that he doesn't dwell on all that he's lost. What he doesn't like is waking up every morning and thinking about Eden Karr and the way she makes him smile. Or the way she almost makes him forget what brought him to this point in his life and that can't happen.

Alison Kent scores a big home run on this story in my opinion. The characters and their small town were brought to warm and vivid life in the words of the author. The slow burn that sparks between Jace and Eden had enough tender moments to warrant the tissue box and enough sexual tension and spark to bring out the fan. The author did a wonderful job of bringing Eden's love for her unborn babies to life and to illuminate her struggle to find her niche when torn between the big city and life in small town Texas. Eden's subtle efforts to bring Jace out of his seclusion and back into the world he once ruled brought an extra dimension to Jace's character outside the normal touch guy persona. Once I picked up my kindle and started Love Me Tender, I couldn't put it down. Well edited and definitely worth reading!Product details

Love It..... I've read four of Alison Kent's books and have enjoyed them all. I'm sure I will order several more.
This book was so great that I could hardly put it down. So intriguing and yet it keeps you on the edge of your seat.
A man attracted to a pregnant woman in town is unusual, but the LOVE story that plays out is beautiful. Another excellent read by Alison.
A nice read that captured how wonderful it is to find your other half in a world that is less than perfect.
Give me a good love story any time! Your characters are very real with a lot of complex feelings that weave their spell into my life or what has been my life. I am looking forward to more of your books!SBD
