I almost never write a negative review. In fact, I rarely review things at at all. Don't really care to bother. This, "book," however, is so overpriced, so brief, so poorly written and so poorly printed, that I felt compelled to squawk. The total length is 35 pages, fine for a 99 cent e-book, but unacceptable at $14.95. Granted, the length was disclosed, but I don't generally need to worry about getting short shrift on content. So I don't check page counts.The writing is immature. Not as in the style of an author who has yet to find his authentic voice, but rather as though it were written by a freshman in haste. Sentences don't scan. Evernote is repeatedly introduced throughout the text as though the reader were encountering it for the first time. Ideas are not developed in useful detail. The flow of thought -- if there was any -- is interrupted by meandering loops followed by abrupt leaps. The letter "q" printed as a square throughout the text.
Brother William, find another profession. You are a carpenter without the faculty of chisel or plane. This is the worst book I have ever read, and I have read quite a few.
Post Script. I figured out one big reason this book is such a turd: it's actually a collection of blog posts. That explains the recursive, disjointed style and the complete absence of editing. Amazon will be getting this one back. For goodness sake, ignore the positive reviews and don't buy this stupid, excrementitious book. Better info is available on the Web for free.

I was very impressed with this book. I fellow freelancer I consult with recommended Evernote to me a while back. I downloaded it, used it a couple of times, and haven't opened it since. While it seemed like a great offering, it offered a lot of functionality but I didn't fully understand how to implement it into my workflow. This book provided insight that allowed me to actually use Evernote as a tool to make my life easier and improve my workflow. It seemed like just another step before, now I understand the value of using Evernote and how it improves my productivity.
This book provides a comprehensive look at the Evernote program/app. It even has a frequently asked questions and answers section. Features are discussed in detail, covering what is included in both free and paid plans. OneNote and Evernote are compared, as well.
